HOW THE W CONCEPT STARTED
Inspired by working more than 15 years with the greatest masters of sushi and fusion cuisine, the owner was motivated to offer his concept restaurant, W Sushi, to the local market.
W symbol in the Japanese language stands for “spirit, heart, & soul” that is manifested by inner balance and pleasure. A story on which the whole concept is based, and the message we want to send to our guests in our restaurants is that all of them are equal. It does not matter who you are or where you come from, but to take advantage of this unique moment in the best way possible, otherwise the opportunity will never get back.
W is inspired by recipes and creations of the world’s best chefs. The concept was launched in Belgrade, where we present a new angle of gastronomy. After 18 months, our newest W brand’s member arrives… W Senjak!
Senjak is inspired by the idea to expand our culinary culture and merge W concept with another popular part of Belgrade. Each location is unique in its concept, and therefore W Senjak will create its own charm and atmosphere.
Each of our managers and chefs bring with them years of experience from all over the world. They worked for famous restaurants and hotels in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and America. All our chefs are trained by the great master sushi chef’s.
We offer the highest quality fish, a current turnover is over 350 kg on a weekly basis as proof that Serbia does not consist of all the typical, local food, and that people are willing to try something new. We get our motivation from positive comments, and we are especially proud of the fact that we are listed at the top of tripadvisor.com list of the best restaurants in Belgrade.
